Back in the 90s, I rode BMX–scoping out the local woods for jumps, cruising downtown Pittsburgh to bomb some rails, or just meander around in South Side looking for trouble.
During my time on 2-wheels, I found myself drawn to a great all-round BMX rider by the name of Dennis McCoy. He had this knack of just making everything look so damn easy, and the sheer smoothness of his riding style was something that we all tried to emulate.
Out of sheer appreciation, I started to design a series of posters in prevalent graphic design styles of the past in honor of his accomplishments and storied career.
